Dentsu Entertainment USA, Inc. (DEUSA) is a leading independent production and finance company devoted to developing original animated content for broadcasters and media companies in the US and around the world.
Founded in 2010 in Santa Monica, California, DEUSA had an immediate impact on children’s animation creating original series like MONSUNO for major networks like Nickelodeon, Disney XD, Nicktoons, etc. as well as localizing hit shows such as YO-KAI WATCH, LBX, and DELTORA QUEST. Content produced by DEUSA has aired on various affiliate networks and terrestrial broadcasters in over 160 countries worldwide.
A wholly owned subsidiary of the world’s largest advertising agency and leading producer of Japanese animation, Dentsu, Inc., DEUSA leverages its parent company’s longstanding relationships with Japanese intellectual property (IP) holders to identify globally recognized characters and brands to adapt into original animation programs with worldwide appeal. DEUSA works closely with the IP creators paying homage to the existing brand while expanding upon the universe in new and exciting ways that appeal to new fans and die-hards alike. Currently DEUSA is working with Capcom on a new original series based on MegaMan with a target airdate of 2017, coinciding with the 30th Anniversary of the franchise.

Tempei joined DEUSA as CEO in April 2019. He started his career at Dentsu (Tokyo) and established his reputation in the digital domain. During his time at Dentsu, he worked on digital advertising for top clients in Japan as digital creative officer, and earned many international awards such as PR Week Awards Asia, SABRE Awards Asia Pacific, IRRA GWA, and Japan PR Award Grand Prix. With his specialized knowledge in digital platforms and creative expertise, his passion is to develop “new type of entertainment content” that moves global audiences in these disruptive times of content creation.
